  1.   License
  2. 1) QVision, Inc. grants you the right to use one copy of the enclosed
  3. QVision software on a single computer. This does not permit you to: (a) use
  4. the software on a network, (b) rent or lease the software, (c) reverse-engineer,
  5. decompile, disassemble, or otherwise modify the software, (d) copy the software except to
  6. make a single copy for archival purposes or to transfer the software to hard disk.
  7. 2) The enclosed software program and all written materials are owned by Qvision
  8. or its suppliers and are protected by U.S. copyright laws and international
  9. treaty provisions. You may not copy any of the written materials. You may sell or transfer
  10. the software and accompanying written materials on a permanent basis provided you retain
  11. no copies and the recipient agrees to the terms of this license.
  12. 3) The terms of this license apply to any copies of the enclosed software program which
  13. maybe provided to you on other media.
  14. 4) QVision reserves all rights to prosecute breach of this license as
  15. violation of copyright in accordance with applicable law.
  16.   Limited Warranty
  17. 5) Neither QVision, Inc., its suppliers, nor any dealer or distributor
  18. makes any warranty, expressed or implied, with respect to the software, the written
  19. material, or any related item, their quality, performance, merchantability, or fitness for
  20. any purchase. On any copy designated as a beta, no warranty is made.
  21. 6) In order to receive the warranty coverage provided below and to ensure
  22. identification, the original purchaser must complete and mail the registration form
  23. enclosed. To the original purchaser only, QVision, Inc. warrants the media if
  24. any to be free from any defect in material for 90 days. If during the first 90 day
  25. period after purchase a defect in media should occur, the software may be returned to
  26. QVision, Inc. who will replace the media at no charge. If at any time after
  27. the initial 90 day period your media becomes defective, the media may be returned to
  28. QVision, Inc. at a reasonable service charge.
  29. 7) In no case will QVision, Inc. or its suppliers be held liable for
  30. direct or incidental damages resulting from any defect or omission in the software,
  31. written materials or other related items and processes, including, but not limited to, any
  32. interruption of service, loss of business, anticipated profit, or other consequential
  33. damages.
  34. Some states do not allow the exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential
  35. damages, so the above limitation or exclusion may not apply to you.
  36. 8) This warranty gives you specific legal rights, and you may also have other rights
  37. which vary from state to state.
  38. 9) The above warranty does not apply if you make any unauthorized attempt to modify or
  39. duplicate the product, or if the product has been damaged by accident or abuse.
